Homemade Souvlaki

Ingredients:

  • 400-500g of chicken, pork or lamb

  • 2 tbls of lemon juice

  • 2-3 tsp of KEFI Seasoning for BBQ

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 3 tbls extra virgin olive oil

Method:

  • Cut your meat into 2-3cm pieces, mix well with KEFI Seasoning for BBQ, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil and leave overnight(Tip 1) in a fridge.

  • Prepare your skewers. Pass the meat pieces at the wooden skewers(Tip 2).

  • Preheat the skillet to a high temperature and grill your souvlaki. Change sides after each 5 minutes.

TIPS:

  • Time will make your meat soft and juicy.

  • Put wooden skewers into a cup with warm water before you start assembling the meat so as to prevent them from burning.
